Nakajima/Liang Laboratory, Tokyo Institute of Technology

Our expertise is polymer nanomechanics, in other words, investigating nano-scale structures and properties of polymeric materials, by which we connects knowledge in nano to macroscopic world. “No swallow written in textbooks” is our motto. We have been currently involved in several national projects such as JST MIRAI. We are also very positive in collaborating with companies, oversea research institutes. The laboratory is newly re-launched in April 2024 as a jointly run laboratory with Associate Professor Xiaobin Liang.
